What Are AMC1 and AMC2?
Two exams, two formats
AMC Part 1 (CAT-MCQ)
A computer-adaptive multiple-choice exam testing medical knowledge across the full range of clinical practice — the standard first assessment for internationally trained doctors whose qualification isn’t automatically recognised by the Medical Board of Australia.
AMC Part 2 (Clinical Exam)
A clinical/OSCE-format exam assessing practical clinical skills — history-taking, examination, diagnosis and management — across a series of timed clinical stations, sat after AMC Part 1 is cleared.
Who This Is For
Doctors who don’t meet the no-exam specialist pathway’s criteria (MD/DM/MCh/MS/MBBS-specialist with 5+ years’ experience), doctors earlier in their career targeting general or specialist registration in Australia, and doctors who’ve already begun the AMC process elsewhere and want structured, live-online coaching to finish it from the UAE.
