Rather than trusting a copy of your degree certificate, EPIC has ECFMG contact your medical school or training institution directly to confirm your credential is genuine. This “primary source verification” has been used on over a million medical credentials, and once complete, produces a report that regulatory bodies like the GMC, AMC/AHPRA, or state medical boards accept as proof — no separate verification process needed on their end.

A one-time fee to open your EPIC account and certify your identity via the EPIC Identification Form (EIF) — verified through a live video call with a notary.

Per-Credential Verification ($100)

Charged for each qualification you upload — typically your primary medical degree and, if relevant, a postgraduate/specialist qualification.

Reports & Courier (optional)

Your first report to each destination is free; extra reports cost $60 each. Courier tracking for institution delivery is optional and adds a small fee — free standard mail has no tracking.
