QCHP / DHP Licensing for Qatar — Managed From Dubai
Qatar’s healthcare licensing authority was restructured as the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) — though “QCHP” remains the name everyone uses, and it’s still the official Prometric exam code. We manage your DataFlow verification, exam preparation and DHP application from our Dubai office.

QCHP/DHP licensing — the numbers that matter
Exam Cost
QAR 500 (approximately $137) — among the most affordable licensing exams in the GCC. 150 MCQs, 3 hours, 60% pass mark (65% for some specialties).
Realistic Timeline
4–7 months when managed independently, though running DataFlow and your DHP application in parallel can bring this down to 8–12 weeks.
2026 Rule Change
From 1 January 2026, DataFlow Primary Source Verification became mandatory for every applicant, no exceptions — even holders of NCLEX, USMLE or PLAB.
Direct DataFlow Partner: As a direct DataFlow Group partner, we manage your Primary Source Verification alongside your Qatar application — now mandatory for every applicant with no exceptions.
QCHP or DHP? Both.
Same authority, new name, one important 2026 change
Qatar’s licensing authority was reorganised under the Ministry of Public Health and is now officially the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) — but “QCHP” is still used constantly by applicants, and it remains the official Prometric exam sponsor code, so both names point to the same body. The more important change for 2026: DataFlow Primary Source Verification is now mandatory for every single applicant under DHP Circular 2025/24. Previously, some applicants holding recognised international exams like NCLEX, USMLE or PLAB could sometimes proceed without a full DataFlow report — that exemption no longer exists.
